Skeleton AFO’s
The Skeleton Style SMO/AFO features abbreviated trimlines allowing for a low profile AFO without compromising stability or control. This design has open posterior trim lines with medial & lateral carbon reinforced uprights for rigidity, while incorporating a flexible plastic SMO and flexible plastic Calf Lacer for point of contact control and adjustability. The Skeleton SMO/AFO provides a lightweight and low profile design compared to traditional thermoplastic Solid Ankle SMO/AFO’s. The slim line design also provides enhanced patient comfort, better shoe fit, and more adjustability for pediatric orthotic management.
