The Zero G is an AFO that fully suspends the foot and ankle, which allows patients to ambulate while being 100% non-weight bearing. The repeatable donning process ensures the foot is offloaded each time the AFO is applied. This process maximizes patient compliance and reduces the risk of further foot damage. No other prefabricated brace offers up to 100% offloading of the foot and ankle.

The Zero G is an AFO that comes in two components: the Calf lacer and the AFO Base. The Calf lacer includes the lacer, Straps, and SmartKnit® Fracture Sock. The AFO Base includes the healing Shoe, Foot insert, Donning Pad, Foot Cover, and Double Action Ankle Joints with Stirrup and uprights.
LACER
- Strap with easily adjustable Velcro closure system provides for ease of donning/doffing the brace.
- Anterior tongue protection to complete the 360-degree lacer.
- One SmartKnit® seam-free sock to provide soft interface.
- Leather lacer corset is infinitely adjustable on the brace structure with Velcro fasteners.
AFO BASE
- ½” Donning pad provided to ensure a repeatable offloading process.
- Double action ankle joints for assist/resist adjustment.
- 1″ Memory foam foot pad cushions any pressure applied to plantar surface of the foot.
- Footplate pad is made from ¼” Plastazote.
- Padded foot cover adjusts for fit, and encases and protects the foot.
- Universal for left or right fitting.
Sizing
Measurements are taken of the calf circumference and the foot length in order to determine proper sizing. The lacer and AFO Base sizes of the Zero G can be interchanged to meet the needs of various sizes.
